United Nations observed day since 1992 aimed at increasing public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

According to the World Health Organisation, around 15% of the world’s population are considered to have some form of disability.

This year's theme is 'Not All Disabilities Are Visible'. The day aim to raise awareness of disabilities which may not be immediately apparent but can still have an impact on people's lives.

We also celebrate the contributions and achievements of people with disability and promote inclusion through our sponsorships

The Pragathi Charitable Trust(R) like every year (since 2018) this year has planned to organize wheel chairs, caliper and Cruchers to disable youths by understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
